[and at the same time they seemed to hear a scornful voice]: “Do not try to flee, but return to all that [once] gave you pleasure and corrupted your whole being. and [return] to your homes, so that you might be called to account [for what you have done]!&rdquo
They were told, Do not try to flee, but return to the comfort and luxuries in which you exulted and to the places where you lived, so that you may be questioned
"Do not attempt to flee, but return to all that (ease and comfort) in which you had been lost without scruples, and to your homes, that you may be appealed to by the poor and needy, or to take your valuable counsels
(It was said) Flee not, but return to the good things of life you were given, and to your mansions, in order that you may be called to account. (How you amassed this wealth and luxury (102:8))
They were told: "Do not run away. Return to your luxuries of life and to your homes, so that you may be asked questions."

Flee not! And return back to that wherein you lived a luxurious life and to your residences, in order that you may be questioned (at the time of destruction. Angels of death would put you to some questions when they take away life from your bodies)
(Thereupon We called out to them,) `Flee not but return to that (state of luxury) in which you were provided comforts and to your dwellings so that you might be called to account for (your conduct).
(It was said to them:) ‘Do not flee in haste, and return to the same place where you were given comforts, and (go back) to your (luxurious) dwellings. It is likely that you are interrogated.
And the angels said, scoffingly, unto them, do not fly; but return to that wherein ye delighted, and to your habitations: Peradventure ye will be asked
“Do not flee, but turn back to the places in which you became spoilt so that you may be questioned.”
